VTech Count The Logo Contest

The VTech Technologies Canada Ltd. “Count The Logo Contest” will commence from 12:01am PST on October 17, 2011 and continues until 11:59pm PST on December 31, 2011 (the “Contest Closing Date”). No purchase necessary. Only one (1) entry per email address per day. The Count The Logo Contest is open to residents of all provinces and territories in Canada excluding Quebec.
Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per email address per day, any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will be void. This Contest is sponsored by VTech Technologies Canada Ltd, hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”.

  1. To enter, go to complete the entry ballot in full and submit it as instructed. Entry into this contest constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions.
  2. A random draw by a representative or agent of the Contest Sponsor from all entries received will be made at approximately 12:00 pm PST each Monday within the contest period, from October 17th 2011 to December 19th 2011, with the last two draws are to be held on January 4th 2012. A total of 2 winners will be named and contacted by email within 48 hours after each draw date as set out on the entry form.
  3. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within 5 days following the draw, or incorrectly answers the skill-testing question or declines the prize, another entrant will be selected.
Participants are eligible to win one (1) Prize for the duration of the contest, having an approximate retail value of $89.99. Terms & Conditions:
  1. Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. The Manufacture's warranty applies to the contest prizes awarded. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
  2. To be declared a winner, selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by email at a mutually convenient time. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
  3. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, province of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Contest Sponsor and its advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.
  4. This Contest is open to residents of Canada who are over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence excluding residents of Quebec and excluding employees of the Contest Sponsor, its parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, Contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
  5. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrant.
  6. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor. The Contest Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become the property of The Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.
  7. The Contest Sponsor is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide the Contest Sponsor with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see the Contest Sponsors Privacy Policy at for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information. The Contest Sponsor has contracted with a third party for the purposes of hosting the Contest microsite and for Contest administration, but it is not authorized by such third party to use your personal information in any way other than the intended use and is subject to applicable Canadian Federal and Provincial privacy legislation.
  8. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, its advertising and Contest agencies and the Contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, and photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.
  9. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsor. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
    1. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest.

      The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend or otherwise modify this contest, cancel any method of entry or void any entries submitted fraudulently should unauthorized human intervention, or other causes corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of this Contest. In the event of cancellation, the Contest Sponsor may elect to identify the winner and award the prizes by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. In the event of cancellation, the Contest Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, elect to identify winners and award the prizes by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation.
    2. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
